This role is focused on designing and delivering system integrations of power electronics hardware that integrates tightly with firmware, power subsystems, and mechanical assemblies. The right candidate is passionate about being in the lab with the products they work on and solving engineering problems alongside the development engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Architect and review system integration designs and diagrams for residential energy storage systems Partner closely with electrical, firmware, mechanical, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver highly integrated, production-ready designs Define critical systems specifications and work with cross functional engineering teams to deliver on product development milestones. Provide technical mentorship, design reviews, and team development leadership Support feedforward from on market products to improve system design for recent product development Minimum Qualifications BSEE or MSEE with 10+ years of experience in relevant engineering development or similar field Robust background in electronics design, embedded systems, and/or mechanical engineering Hands-on lab experience with validation, debugging, and test automation tools Familiar with design constraints related to thermal, safety, and manufacturability Track record of cross-functional execution in current product development settings Prior experience with design documentation best practices Experience with high quality, high reliability products. Long warranty, high stress environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with energy systems, IoT devices, or embedded hardware in regulated environments Exposure to compliance testing (UL/IEC/EMC) and design transfer to contract manufacturing Technical knowledge in Electrical Engineering, Firmware Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
