Network Consultant II - SDWAN (Versa / Fortinet) (Noida)

Position Summary We are looking for a hands-on Network Engineer with 58 years of experience to manage and support enterprise network environments across SDWAN, security, and cloud platforms. The role involves L2/L3 support, incident management, troubleshooting, and executing changes while ensuring high service availability and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Provide L2 / L3 support for network and security incidents, resolving majority issues without escalation - Monitor incidents and ensure timely updates to customers and stakeholders - Escalate complex issues to Engineering teams as required - Troubleshoot and manage network hardware; coordinate replacement where needed - Execute client change requests in line with CAB/ITIL processes - Handle critical incidents and outages as per escalation matrix - Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation - Review open tickets daily and share status with management - Ensure proper shift handovers - Participate in operations and change review calls - Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for unresolved issues Technical Skills (Must Have) - Robust hands-on experience in: - SD-WAN (Versa / Fortinet preferred) - Routing & Switching (L2/L3) - Firewalls - Wireless (Cisco / Meraki / Aruba / Juniper Mist) - Good understanding of: - TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) - VPN, IDS/IPS, SSL, network security concepts - Load balancing (F5 / Netscaler) - Experience in: - Azure Networking (vNet, VPN, Virtual WAN, NSG) - Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, NetFlow, IP Soft) - Packet analysis tools (Wireshark) Nice to Have - SDWAN: Meraki, Silver Peak, Viptela, Palo Alto - Bluecoat Proxy, RSA, Meraki devices - Radius/NPS administration - Multi-vendor enterprise network support Systems & Platforms - Cisco routers, switches, wireless - Checkpoint / Sophos firewalls - F5 / Kemp Load Balancers - Windows, Linux/Unix (DNS, DHCP) - Ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) Behavioral Skills - Strong customer communication skills - Ability to work in 24x7 environment - Proactive, ownership-driven mindset - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills - Team player with accountability Experience & Qualification - 58 years of experience in Network / Security support - Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, SDWAN, Firewall) preferred - ITIL knowledge/certification is mandatory We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fair and ethical hiring practices.
