Job Title: Cargo Fleet Executive (Supply & Operations ) Department: Supply & Operations, Job locations : Chennai (Madhavaram) Candidates should be willing to work from any of these locations. Vendor & Fleet Owner Acquisition Identify and onboard current fleet owners, transporters, and vehicle providers. Generate recent leads through field visits, referrals, and market intelligence. Build a reliable supply of vehicles (FTL) based on business needs. Vehicle Sourcing Arrange spot market vehicles on a daily basis as per operational demand. Ensure the availability of vehicles at competitive rates in high-demand lanes. Negotiate freight rates and terms with vehicle owners or agents. Coordination & Documentation Ensure all vendor documentation (RC, PAN, GST, insurance, etc.) is collected and verified. Coordinate with finance and operations for timely payment and vehicle deployment. Maintain a database of active vendors, their fleet strength, and performance. Experience 2 to 4 years in vendor development, fleet onboarding, or vehicle sourcing in a logistics, transport aggregator, or freight forwarding company. .
