Position: ServiceNow ATF Tester Location : Chennai / Bangalore - Hybrid only Experience: 5+ years Expertise: ServiceNow, ATF, ITSM, CSM Availability: Immediate to 30 Days We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ATF Tester with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for ServiceNow applications and customizations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, testing methodologies, regression testing, and ATF test automation. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using ServiceNow ATF . Create and maintain ATF Tests, Test Suites, Test Steps, Step Configurations, and Assertions . Develop reusable and parameterized automated test cases to improve regression test coverage. Automate functional and regression testing for ServiceNow applications and customizations. Validate UI functionality, forms, lists, workflows, business rules, catalog items, approvals, and notifications. Perform end-to-end testing of ServiceNow processes and workflows. Create ATF test cases for modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, SecOps, and Service Catalog . Execute automated test suites following ServiceNow upgrades, patches, releases, and deployments. Analyze failed ATF test results, logs, screenshots, and execution details to identify defects. Troubleshoot test failures and collaborate with developers, administrators, BAs, and functional teams to resolve issues. Maintain and enhance existing automated regression test suites when ServiceNow configurations or customizations change. Create test data and reusable test components wherever required. Participate in test planning, test case reviews, defect management, and release validation. Identify opportunities to increase test automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort. Document test scenarios, automation coverage, defects, test results, and execution reports. Support continuous improvement of the ServiceNow test automation framework. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow testing . Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) . Good understanding of creating and executing ATF Tests and Test Suites . Experience with ATF test steps, assertions, variables, test data, and reusable components. Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform functionality and configurations . Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. Good knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog. Experience testing ServiceNow workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, notifications, and approvals. Ability to analyze failures and perform basic root-cause analysis. Good understanding of defect lifecycle and testing methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and documentation skills. Good to Have Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and regression testing . Knowledge of REST/SOAP API testing and ServiceNow integrations. Experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting. Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Experience integrating automated testing into DevOps pipelines. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification. ServiceNow Automated Test Framework or relevant testing certification/training. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. .
