Job Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Bangalore Experience: 8+ Years Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end software development projects across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background, proven experience managing Agile Scrum teams, and mandatory domain expertise in Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, or Financial Services . The role requires excellent stakeholder management, risk mitigation, delivery governance, and the ability to ensure high-quality project execution. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, estimation, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, execution, monitoring, and closure. - Manage software development projects throughout the complete SDLC using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. - Lead Agile Scrum teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, customers, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable project plans. - Track project progress, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. - Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, implementing mitigation and contingency plans. - Monitor project health using KPIs, dashboards, and project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence. - Ensure compliance with organizational quality, security, governance, and regulatory standards. - Drive effective communication across cross-functional teams and provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders. - Mentor team members, support delivery excellence, and contribute to recruitment and team-building initiatives. Required Skills & Experience - 8+ years of experience in Technical Project Management. - Proven experience delivering software development projects across the complete SDLC. - Mandatory domain experience in Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, or Financial Services. - Strong experience leading Agile Scrum teams as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Manager. - Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall project delivery methodologies. - Excellent stakeholder management, vendor management, and client communication skills. - Strong risk management, issue resolution, and decision-making capabilities. - Experience using project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or Azure DevOps. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and multiple project streams. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent project management certification. - Experience working in enterprise-scale digital transformation or application development projects. - Knowledge of SDLC governance, release management, and software quality assurance processes.
