Company Description: Finova Motors is dedicated to advancing electric motor technology for high performance, delivering specialized solutions for Satellite and Electic Vehicle applications. Finova Motors emphasizes innovation, quality, and efficiency in all its products and development efforts. Team members join a mission-driven environment that is committed to cleaner, more efficient motors. The organization offers opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge projects that shape next-generation motor technology. The Role You'll own the hands-on build, iteration, and precision assembly of our engineering model, a high-speed (10,00016,000 RPM) motor for satellite reaction wheels and CMGs. This is a build-test-rebuild role: you'll personally assemble prototypes, dynamically balance rotors, run and support environmental validation (shock, vibration, thermal, EMI/EMC), diagnose fit and performance issues, and iterate fast through multiple engineering model builds before we move toward flight-model AIT. Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India (on-site) Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 26 years What You Will Do Personally assemble and dynamically balance high-speed rotor assemblies (target balance grades to be defined per build) Select, install, and diagnose bearing performance for continuously rotating shaft assemblies Build and iterate custom assembly fixtures and jigs as the design evolves through engineering model cycles Diagnose vibration, fit, and tolerance issues through hands-on troubleshooting, visual inspection, root-cause analysis, and rework Plan and support environmental validation of prototype builds, shock testing, vibration (sine/random), thermal cycling, and EMI/EMC characterization, working with test facilities or in-house equipment as available Correlate environmental test results against expected performance and feed discrepancies back into the design and assembly process Coordinate with vendors on machined component quality, tolerance verification, and material test reports Support spin testing and thermal behavior monitoring of the prototype under continuous operation Work closely with the design/FEA engineer to feed back real assembly and test findings into the next design iteration Progressively build toward formal documentation (assembly procedures, cleaning procedures, test procedures) as the design stabilizes and the program moves toward flight-model AIT What We're Looking For Hands-on experience with high-speed rotating hardware, motor assembly, rotor dynamic balancing, bearing installation, in any of the following domains: drone/UAV motors, EV/e-bike motors, robotics actuators, or high-speed rotating machinery (turbochargers, motorsport, industrial spindles) Direct experience with dynamic balancing equipment and procedures (to a specific balance grade) Hands-on or supporting experience with shock, vibration, thermal, and EMI/EMC validation testing, setting up test articles, running test campaigns, or interpreting results (standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, or equivalent are a plus) Precision mechanical assembly skills, tolerance stack-up, interference/press fits, torque procedures Comfort working in a fast-iteration prototype environment rather than a formal, process-heavy production environment Space/satellite background is a plus but not required; we specifically want someone who has personally done rotor balancing, high-speed motor assembly, and environmental validation, wherever that experience comes from Willingness to grow into formal AIT/ECSS documentation practices as the program matures toward flight qualification #PrototypeEngineer #MotorAssembly #RotorBalancing #BLDCMotor #ReactionWheel #ControlMomentGyroscope #SatelliteHardware #SpaceGradeHardware #AerospaceEngineering #DeepTech #SpaceTech #HyderabadJobs #HiringNow #MechanicalDesign #VibrationTesting #EMIEMC #PrecisionEngineering #StartupJobs #NewSpace #HardwareEngineer .

144,883 engineer jobs are open right now

Here's how to pick the right one and stand out in your application.

144.883Jobs
31.687IN
81%EN

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
