We are inviting candidates to join us as a Data platform engineer to support building a data-driven culture within Colgate. Data visualization engineer will be responsible for supporting, monitoring and setting governance around all visualization tools. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team. The Candidate will work closely with the multi-functional teams, partners, and customers to identify and prioritize features based on customer needs and business value to fully apply the capability of the tools.: Responsibilities : Supporting all the existing tools in the organization. Work with partners including the Executive, Developers, Data engineers to assist with Visualization platform related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines, departments, and segments Create and update documentation for the purposes of architectural governance and support or the tools that are used Educate users on standard methodologies and Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization. Prepare and maintain documentation of processes, standards. Recommend and participate in evaluation of new tools or technologies to improve current architecture or design Respond to support tickets and solve issues. Maintain and enhance existing visualization tools to improve usability and performance. Required Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology. 4 to 7 years of experience with data visualization tools and methods - DOMO, Sigma, Google studio, Tableau, Smartsheet. Ability to communicate, cultivate collaboration with different functional teams. Ability to handle complexity to provide customers with simple solutions. Preferred Qualifications : Technical platform knowledge and business process knowledge to optimally connect with team members. Experience with data warehousing technologies and methodologies. Experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
