Role Description The Audit Manager DPSM & CO Chartered Accountants is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for leading and managing audit engagements from planning through completion. The Audit Manager will oversee internal, operational, and statutory audits, review financial statements, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards. Daily activities include supervising audit teams, allocating work, reviewing working papers, identifying control weaknesses, and preparing transparent, well-supported audit reports and management recommendations. The role also involves coordinating with clients, understanding their business processes, supporting due diligence and business valuation assignments when required, and contributing to continuous improvement of audit methodologies and firm-wide quality standards. Qualifications - Strong proficiency in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret complex business transactions and apply relevant standards. - Hands-on experience with Financial Statements and Financial Audits, including planning, execution, and finalization of audit engagements. - Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate controls, identify risks, perform variance and trend analyses, and draw data-driven conclusions. - Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent, (ca inter with good exposure can also be considered)with prior experience in audit management or supervisory roles. - Solid knowledge of accounting standards, taxation principles, and regulatory requirements applicable to different sectors. - Strong leadership and team management capabilities, including mentoring, performance oversight, and workload planning. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction, report drafting, and presentation of findings. - Ability to work on-site in Kochi with a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and deadlines. .
