Senior Manager-Credit Control (Mumbai)

Job location- Malad (West) Working Days- Monday to Saturday Credit Controller responsibilities and duties: - To ensure Credit Control team is aligned with entire groups Financial health - To review and implement debt collection policies and regulations at Global level. - To ensure deadlines for invoicing and payment collection are met as per the TAT - To handle the complete cycle of Credit Control which includes capturing sales order invoice in Zoho, processing cash application, debt collection, customer reconciliation, credit note issuance and negotiations - To Ensure payment postings are executed as per set KPI - To provide credit ratings to global customers account based on past payment statistics - To review and maintain all the agreements, contracts or deeds with the concerned parties - To streamline timely invoicing, collection of payments, and account reconciliation - To monitor processing of invoices to ensure no revenue leakage - To conduct regular review on billings to client and overdue receivable - To negotiate with clients in non-payment cases - To work in tandem with the Legal team incase of Defaulting clients - To identify and actively lead automation of processes to improve effectiveness and efficacy of the team - To be well informed about the current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending recent procedures - To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports Education and Experience - Excellent Team management - Should have managed a team of 40-50 ppl - At least a Bachelors Degree / PG in Accounting, Finance, Business, Familiarity with data entry and analysis - The ability to listen to customers and negotiate winning solutions Should have handled client base of more than 2000 - Experience into automation process.
