Company Description Regulatory Representatives & Managers Association (RRMA) is a membership-based association focused on advancing chemical compliance and regulatory capacity building for industries. RRMA represents service providers that support businesses in meeting regulatory requirements and global expectations efficiently. As regulations become more complex across products and geographies, RRMA helps regulatory professionals identify key requirements, build capacity, and implement monitoring mechanisms to reduce regulatory risks. The association is committed to fostering a mature, impactful regulatory system on chemicals that supports strong environmental, social, and human health objectives. RRMA also aims to develop a large pool of trained regulatory professionals in India and other developing regions to strengthen compliance standards worldwide. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Representative role based in Mumbai. The Representative will support member organizations by providing guidance on chemical regulatory compliance, helping them understand evolving technical and product-based regulations, and facilitating access to RRMAs resources and capacity-building programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with members, responding to regulatory queries, coordinating training sessions and workshops, and gathering feedback to improve RRMA services. The role involves collaborating with regulatory professionals, preparing concise reports and presentations, and maintaining accurate records of member interactions and support activities. The Representative will also assist in outreach efforts, contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, and help strengthen RRMAs presence within the regulatory community. Qualifications - Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly in chemical or technical product regulations, and ability to interpret and explain regulatory requirements clearly. - Experience with stakeholder engagement, member or client relations, and capacity-building activities such as workshops, training programs, or advisory services. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft reports, presentations, and guidance documents in a clear and structured manner. - Solid analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple member queries, track regulatory developments, and maintain accurate documentation. - Proficiency with standard office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software) and comfort working with digital collaboration platforms. - Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, environmental science, regulatory affairs, policy, law, or business; advanced qualifications or certifications in regulatory compliance are an advantage. - Prior experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, industry associations, or consulting is preferred, especially within chemical or manufacturing sectors. - Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multidisciplinary environment, demonstrate professional integrity, and uphold non-discriminatory and inclusive practices. .
