Role Description The Sales Manager MICE & Holidays is a full time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This position is responsible for developing and managing sales for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) as well as holiday packages, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and key accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing sales to meet revenue and growth targets. The role also involves coordinating with operations and product teams to design tailored itineraries, ensure service quality, and manage client expectations before, during, and after travel. The Sales Manager will track market trends, maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts, and represent the brand at industry events, sales calls, and client meetings within the region. Qualifications - Experience in sales and business development within travel, hospitality, or MICE and holiday packages, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding targets. - Demonstrated ability in client relationship management, including engaging corporate clients, travel agents, and partners, and providing high-quality customer service. - Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare proposals and conduct meetings in a clear and professional manner. - Knowledge of MICE operations, holiday itinerary planning, and destination management, especially for remote and experiential travel. - Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and other sales-related software, along with basic proficiency in digital communication tools. - Ability to work on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area, travel for client meetings or site visits as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Bachelors degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered. - Prior experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment, and familiarity with the Eastern India travel market, will be an advantage. .
