Freelance RBI FC

Engagement Type: Freelance / Contract Per Transaction About the Role: Altius Investech is looking for an experienced compliance professional to handle RBI reporting for foreign remittance transactions, specifically Form FC-TRS filings under FEMA, on a per-deal basis. This is not a full-time position you will be engaged as and when a transaction arises. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end filing of Form FC-TRS on the RBI FIRMS portal for transfer of shares/capital instruments between resident and non-resident parties Verify and coordinate documentation required for filing (share transfer agreements, valuation reports, FIRC/KYC of remitter, board resolutions, etc.) Ensure compliance with FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) regulations and RBI Master Directions on foreign investment Coordinate with the company's bank (AD Category-I Bank) for reporting and certification Liaise with RBI/AD Bank for query resolution and follow-ups Ensure filings are completed within prescribed timelines to avoid late submission fees (LSF) Advise on valuation compliance (as per FEMA pricing guidelines) where applicable Requirements: Qualified Company Secretary (CS), Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent professional with FEMA/RBI compliance experience Hands-on experience with FIRMS portal filings (FC-GPR, FC-TRS, etc.) Strong knowledge of FEMA, FDI Policy, and RBI Master Directions on foreign investment in India Prior experience handling foreign remittance/inbound-outbound investment transactions Ability to work independently on a per-assignment basis with quick turnaround Good coordination skills with AD Banks and RBI Nice to Have: Experience working with startups/companies receiving FDI Familiarity with valuation reports (DCF/NAV) for compliance purposes Compensation: Per-deal/transaction basis (negotiable based on transaction complexity) Location: Remote/Freelance Compensation: 5,000.00 - 10,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
