About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented, friendly, understanding and execution-minded HR Onboarding Specialist to onboard and support caregivers, clients, and families using our caregiving platform. In this role, you will help create seamless client experiences, coordinate employment verification and onboarding, and streamline operational workflows. You will guide caregivers and families from initial intake through training, onboarding, and ongoing care delivery while translating complex Medicaid enrollment requirements into clear, stress-free next steps. The ideal candidate has experience in customer support, HR operations, or administration within a consumer-facing program and is passionate about turning feedback into better processes and outcomes. This role reports to the Head of Operations or COO. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the caregiver onboarding process from first contact through activation, setting clear expectations and next steps.Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, caregivers, and families, providing clear, timely, and supportive communication.Track onboarding progress and follow up on pending documents, signatures, authorizations, and other requirements.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; support audits, I-9 administration, and employment verifications.Respond quickly and professionally to questions, concerns, and issues.Identify opportunities to improve the client and caregiver experience and encourage appropriate service utilization.Collaborate with scheduling, billing, caregiver management, and other internal teams to keep daily operations running smoothly.Share feedback from clients and caregivers to help improve services, policies, and internal processes.Qualifications2+ years of experience in customer support or HR operations, ideally in a tech startup, healthcare, or high-volume service environment.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.Tech-forward mindset with experience using CRMs, ticketing systems, or workflow tools; experience with JIRA is a plus.High emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for mission-driven work.Excitement about using AI and technology to improve day-to-day efficiency.Familiarity with healthcare technology, Medicaid, or family caregiving programs is a plus.You AreEmpathetic and client-focused: You care deeply about creating an exceptional experience for every client and family.Operationally excellent: You are detail-oriented, accurate, efficient, and proactive.Clear communicator: You communicate with warmth, professionalism, and clarity in both writing and conversation.Accountable: You take ownership of outcomes, follow through, and care about client satisfaction.Hours and CompensationSalary range: $50-$70k/yrStandard schedule options: 9:00 AM5:00 PM ET or 10:00 AM6:00 PM ET, Monday through FridayHealthcare benefitsFully remote roleWhile this is a remote position, the ideal candidate will live in DE, GA, IN, MA, MI, MO, KY, FL, NY or SD.**We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, consistent with applicable laws.
