Role Description This is a full-time, on-site teleCaller role based at Deshpande Eye Hospital & Laser Center in the Pune Division. The teleCaller will handle incoming and outgoing calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide accurate information about hospital services, appointments, and procedures. Daily tasks include scheduling and confirming appointments, updating patient records in the system, and coordinating with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow. The role involves following call scripts and guidelines, maintaining high standards of courtesy and professionalism, and escalating complex queries to the appropriate team members. The teleCaller will also support patient reminders, feedback calls, and basic follow-up communication to enhance overall patient experience. Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with clear and polite telephone etiquette. Customer service abilities, including patience, empathy, and problem-solving in handling patient queries and concerns. Basic computer proficiency and experience using call management systems or hospital/clinic software. Organizational and time-management skills to manage high call volumes and appointment scheduling accurately. Ability to work collaboratively with medical and administrative staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Prior experience in telecalling, front desk, or customer support (healthcare or service industry preferred). Comfort communicating in English and local languages commonly used in Pune Division. graduation in any field is an advantage. .
