Every season, we collaborate with international design and sourcing teams to transform creative concepts into products that meet the highest standards of quality, construction, and cost efficiency. The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced PD Merchandise Manager who can independently drive the product development process from prototype stage through production handover. This is a high-visibility role that offers direct exposure to international buyers, designers, and sourcing teams. You will play a critical role in shaping products, refining construction, engineering costs, and ensuring seamless execution from concept to commercialization. Key Responsibilities Translate design concepts into technically viable leather products Review and refine construction, reinforcement, finishing, and hardware integration Develop cost-effective solutions while maintaining product integrity and design intent Manage multiple seasonal development timelines and approvals Communicate directly with international design and sourcing teams Analyze specifications, construction details, and pattern corrections Collaborate closely with pattern masters, craftsmen, vendors, and production teams Ensure smooth transition from development to production What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in leather goods product development Strong understanding of handbag and leather accessory construction Expertise in reinforcement techniques, materials, and finishing processes Ability to interpret detailed tech packs and specifications Strong commercial understanding of costing and production feasibility Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail Apply If You take ownership and accountability for results You enjoy solving technical product challenges You thrive in a fast-paced development environment You value precision, quality, and continuous improvement Location: Kolkata (Full-Time).
