The Insights Management Technical Director will build and deliver Hurons Insights as a Service offering, leading cross-disciplinary teams and managing the creation of innovative analytics solutions tailored to healthcare challenges.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement state-of-the-art data processes for one or more healthcare capabilitiesManage roadmap and executive report outs to consulting leadershipShape creation of new analytics-based offerings in market in partnership with consulting leadershipManage cross-disciplinary resources across data engineering, application engineering, data science, and AI-related engineering groups, building repeatable and differentiated analytics offeringsLead the build-out of diverse technical assets and proprietary methodologies that enhance the firm's consulting capabilitiesDrive innovation by generating ideas for data science applications, advanced analytics, and interactive dashboards tailored to healthcare challengesCollaborate with data engineering teams to design scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with modern architectural standardsTranslate broad business requirements into specific technical roadmaps for solution developmentIdentify areas of opportunities, levers, and actionable strategies to address. Grow customer relationships by building confidence and trust in the data and insights we provideSkillsBachelor's degree (BS, BA) required / preferred areas of study include Information Systems, Health Care Informatics, mathematics, statistics, finance, technical or health care analytics related discipline or equivalent experienceCurrent permanent US work authorization required8+ years of relevant experience in healthcare consultingProven analytical skills particularly with large, comprehensive data setsDemonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to internal and client stakeholders, including complex, technical information, with a strong attention to detailRole is predominantly remote, with expectation of occasional travel for internal or client meetings5-6+ years experience with SQL and PythonDemonstrated experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS or Snowflake)Demonstrated experience using AI in data and analytics workflowsKnowledge of data transformation frameworks such as Data Build Tool (DBT)Demonstrated ability to work with technical engineering resourcesDemonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projectsDemonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer satisfactionWorking both autonomously, and collaboratively with others, with limited supervision and with the ability to navigate in uncertaintyDemonstrated experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, QuickSight, Power BI, etc.)Strong written communication and documentation skills to create and edit internal and client deliverables that are succinct, articulate, and meet Huron's standards of qualityExceptional organization and time management skills to manage multiple priorities at once with fast-paced turnaround timesExperience with comprehensive healthcare data sets (claims, financial performance, clinical, and other related healthcare data)Recent healthcare consulting, analytics, and/or technical experience in a team-based professional services firm environmentBenefitsThis job is also eligible to participate in Hurons annual incentive compensation programEligible to participate in Hurons benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programsCompany OverviewHuron is a global professional services firm that collaborates with organizations to solve complex challenges and achieve ambitious goals.
