Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 1040 hours/week What You'll Do Develop, solve, and review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance Apply deep expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines to design complex, rigorous problem sets Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance AI reasoning in the life sciences Ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, and depth across all deliverables Work independently on task-based assignments fully on your own schedule Who You Are Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, etc.) Solid expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or data analysis Exceptional written communication skills with sharp attention to scientific detail Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without direct supervision Nice to Have Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows Background in academic publishing, peer review, or research mentorship Familiarity with computational biology tools or bioinformatics pipelines Ex .
