The Quality Assurance Program Manager will oversee quality assurance and control reviews during the engineering design process for data center builds, ensuring compliance and collaboration across various teams and projects.ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage documentation and workflows across one or multiple project clusters, engaging the right stakeholders to raise the quality and coherence of the final packagePerform quality review of technical documentation for accuracy and contract complianceServe as subject matter expert for other quality engineers on process questions and decisionsSupport design managers in preparing complete, accurate documentation across design phases and construction handoff, including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and calculationsManage project archiving, tracking, processing, filing, naming standards, and versioningProvide training and tactical support to internal and external partnersPrepare ad hoc reports on project progress and KPIsDrive process improvement initiatives end to end, from requirements gathering through implementation and trainingCollaborate with technical teams in a fast-paced environment while raising the bar on documentation qualityAct as configuration analyst / system owner for design documentsLead both short-term process fixes and longer-term process redesignMaintain confidentiality around sensitive documentationConduct audits to confirm processes are being followedSkills4+ years of experience as a project engineer on large commercial design and construction projects, or 4+ years in the design or construction industryAbility to read and interpret specifications and drawings across all disciplines (electrical, mechanical, architectural, and others)Comfortable working entirely in digital formats this role involves reviewing thousands of sheets and pages of issuances, with no reliance on printed copiesStrong attention to detail, including consistency in your own work productAbility to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyDegree in architecture, engineering, or a construction management background is strongly preferred; strong hands-on experience that clearly demonstrates equivalent skills may offset the degree requirementExperience with design and construction management software such as Autodesk BIM 360, Bluebeam, and ProcoreExperience with collaborative management systemsKnowledge of the scope and sequencing of a design and construction project lifecycleStrong written and organizational skills, including experience writing functional and technical specificationsExperience in AI or a proven track record of rapidly learning and mentoring others on emerging techCompany OverviewSparq blends problem-first thinking with technical craft to deliver fast, flawless solutions that prove their worth.
