Role Summary We are looking for a senior leader who can sit at the intersection of SAP process understanding, BTP architecture, enterprise AI, and customer-facing delivery. This is not a pure SAP functional role. This is not a generic GenAI strategy role either. This role is for someone who can identify where SAP-native AI actually makes sense, shape the right solution approach, lead customer conversations with credibility, and build a strong cross-functional team to deliver SAP AI initiatives from discovery through execution. You will work across areas such as Joule, Joule Studio, SAP Business AI, SAP Build, SAP BTP, workflow automation, enterprise extensions, and AI-enabled process transformation. What Youll Own Lead SAP AI and Joule-related customer assignments from early discovery to delivery shapingIdentify and qualify enterprise use cases for SAP Business AI, Joule skills, agents, and AI-enabled workflowsTranslate business process pain points into credible SAP-native AI solution optionsShape solution architecture across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Joule, integrations, workflows, data context, and governanceDrive customer workshops, use case prioritisation, roadmap discussions, and pilot framingAct as the bridge between business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, platform architects, and AI engineersBuild repeatable offerings, delivery playbooks, estimation logic, accelerators, and demo assetsDefine the right team structure for each engagement and help mentor the capability internallyEnsure we do not confuse automation, analytics, workflows, and agentic AI and choose the right pattern for the right problemContribute to pre-sales, solutioning, proposal shaping, and thought leadership in the SAP AI space What Youll Do Run discovery and advisory sessions with enterprise stakeholders across functions such as finance, procurement, supply chain, HR, service, and salesAssess where embedded SAP AI is sufficient and where custom extensions, skills, or agents are neededShape end-to-end solution options using SAP Business AI, Joule, Joule Studio, SAP Build, and SAP BTPWork with technical teams to translate architecture into delivery-ready plansPartner with functional consultants to ensure AI use cases are grounded in real business process contextWork with engineering teams on orchestration, APIs, enterprise integrations, guardrails, and fallback patternsBring structure to ambiguous transformation asks and avoid AI theatreHelp define how our SAP AI capability should evolve as a team, offering, and go-to-market play What Good Looks Like Customers trust you because you understand both enterprise process reality and emerging SAP AI possibilitiesYou know when something should be solved with a workflow, a rule, a dashboard, a copilot, or an agentYou can go from vague ask to use case map to architecture to delivery plan without losing credibilityYou are able to build confidence with SAP stakeholders without sounding like a generic AI evangelistYou help build a scalable practice, not just solve one-off assignments Must-Have Experience 5-8 years of experience across SAP solutioning, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, or SAP-led consultingStrong understanding of SAP BTP and SAP extensibility patternsGood working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA process landscapes in at least one or two domainsExperience leading enterprise customer conversations, workshops, and solution shapingExposure to AI, automation, copilots, or intelligent workflow design in enterprise environmentsAbility to work across business stakeholders, architects, delivery teams, and leadershipStrong written and verbal communication with a consulting mindset Strongly Preferred Experience with SAP Business AI, Joule, Joule Studio, SAP Build, workflow automation, or AI services on SAP BTPExposure to enterprise GenAI patterns such as orchestration, grounding, guardrails, evaluations, and human-in-the-loop designExperience working across SAP and non-SAP integrationsExperience in building reusable offerings, accelerators, and capability playbooksComfort working in pre-sales, pursuits, proposals, and transformation framing What We Are Not Looking For A purely functional SAP consultant with no interest in AI or platform thinkingA generic AI strategist without SAP process and platform depthA pure data scientist disconnected from enterprise delivery realitySomeone who treats every workflow problem as an LLM problem Ideal Backgrounds You Are Likely One Of These A senior SAP .
