Remote Senior Business Analyst (Insurance Domain)

They are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to analyze existing actuarial reports and instruct developers on replacing these reports within their Segment Data Warehouse, while also performing Quality Assurance testing to validate new reports.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze existing (mostly Excel+SQL ) actuarial reports /measures and instruct developers on how to replace these reports within our Segment Data Warehouse. This may include:Clarification on key calculations and analysis of the underlying dataIn some circumstances, development of requirements documentation and acceptance criteriaPerform Quality Assurance (QA) testing to validate that new reports/measures meet requirementsThis may include:Validation that the data the report produces matches the expected resultsAssistance with troubleshooting issues through data analysisCoordinate and own User Testing and SignoffResponsible for coordination of acceptance testing through signoffSkillsPrior knowledge and experience with reinsurance, actuarial/reserving reporting processesAbility to quickly understand firm's calculations, data and processesBachelors or Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant fieldCompany OverviewAhura Workforce Solutions believes in conducting business based on mutual growth, and innovation, in an ever-changing industry and economic environment.
