The role involves partnering with various stakeholders to optimize business processes and lead Workday Financials implementations, while also supporting integrations and developing custom applications.ResponsibilitiesThe consultant will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Technology stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that optimize business processes, improve user experience, and support finance transformation initiativesLead Workday Financials implementation, enhancement, optimization, and support activitiesConfigure and support Workday Financial Management modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, Banking & Cash Management, Projects, Fixed Assets, and Revenue ManagementDesign, develop, test, and deploy custom applications using Workday ExtendBuild and support integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST APIs, and SOAP APIsDevelop workflow automation solutions using Workday OrchestrateGather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutionsConfigure Workday business processes, security, calculated fields, reports, and dashboardsSupport data conversion, SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production stabilization activitiesTroubleshoot complex production issues and implement system enhancementsDevelop functional and technical design documentation, test scripts, and training materialsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support upgrades, releases, governance processes, and enhancement roadmapsSkillsWe are seeking an experienced Workday Financials & Extend Consultant with a strong blend of functional and technical expertise7+ years of Workday experience, including Workday Financials, Extend, and IntegrationsHands-on experience with Workday Financial Management configurationStrong knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, Banking & Cash Management, Projects, Fixed Assets, and Revenue ManagementExperience with financial reporting, business processes, security, controls, and finance stakeholder supportHands-on development experience with Workday ExtendStrong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Integrations, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and Workday OrchestrateExperience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, security framework, and data migrationAbility to support end-to-end solution delivery from design through production deploymentStrong client-facing and stakeholder management experienceExperience gathering requirements and conducting workshopsExcellent communication, presentation, and documentation skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environmentWorkday Financials CertificationWorkday Extend Certification and/or Workday Integration CertificationExperience with Workday Prism Analytics and Workday Accounting CenterCPA, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent finance/accounting backgroundExperience with global finance transformation initiativesExperience working in Agile delivery environmentsBenefitsHealth BenefitsReferral ProgramExcellent growth and advancement opportunitiesCompany OverviewABOUT ICONMA provides Professional Staffing Services & Project-Based Solutions for a broad range of Fortune 500 organizations.
