About Position: We are seeking a Security Analyst to support global security operations, governance, threat monitoring, and incident response activities across enterprise environments. The role involves monitoring security events, managing email security platforms, supporting compliance initiatives, coordinating vulnerability remediation, and strengthening the organization's overall security posture in alignment with global security standards. - Role: Vapt Engineer - Location: Bengaluru - Experience: 8 to 12 Years - Job Type: Full-Time Employment What You'll Do: - Perform continuous monitoring of security alerts and events across APAC, EMEA, and AMER environments. - Support day-to-day security operations and L2 security activities. - Analyze security threats, suspicious activities, and potential vulnerabilities. - Administer and support email security platforms including ForcePoint, Zscaler, and Microsoft 365 Security services. - Configure email security policies, warning banners, blacklists, - whitelists, URL rewrite exceptions, and content classification rules. - Troubleshoot email delivery issues, routing delays, inbound and outbound mail failures, and quarantine-related incidents. - Conduct email threat investigations and support phishing, malware, and spam remediation activities. - Support onboarding and security configuration of new domains and mail services. - Assist in ISMS governance activities, policy management, compliance reviews, and security control adherence. - Support internal audits, external audits, compliance assessments, and customer security reviews. - Coordinate with thirdparty risk management teams, regulators, auditors, and compliance stakeholders. - Track vulnerability remediation activities and ensure timely closure of identified risks. - Participate in incident response activities and support investigation of security incidents - Assist in threat modeling, architecture reviews, and secure-by-design assessments. - Support API security reviews, application security assessments, and remediation tracking. - Analyze logs, alerts, and security events from enterprise security platforms. - Maintain security documentation, procedures, reports, and operational records. - Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and business teams to improve security controls and processes. Expertise You'll Bring - Experience in Security Operations, Security Monitoring, and Incident Response. - Handson experience with email security platforms such as ForcePoint, Zscaler, and Microsoft 365 Security. - Strong understanding of email security controls including anti-phishing, antispam, malware protection, URL filtering, and content classification. - Experience investigating email-based security threats and phishing incidents. - Knowledge of SIEM platforms, security monitoring, and log analysis. - Experience with EDR/XDR technologies and endpoint threat detection concepts. - Understanding of Vulnerability Management processes and remediation workflows. - Experience reviewing and analyzing security events, alerts, and incidents. - Familiarity with ISMS frameworks, governance, risk management, and compliance requirements. - Knowledge of audit processes, regulatory compliance, and security policy management. - Experience supporting customer security reviews and compliance assessments. - Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot Regular Expressions for security policies and filtering rules. - Understanding of threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and secure-by-design principles. - Exposure to API security and application security concepts. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across enterprise environments. - Experience working in global, multi-region operational environments. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. - Familiarity with cloud security concepts, SaaS security, and cloud architecture reviews is desirable. - Exposure to Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes is an advantage. - Experience supporting customer-facing security questionnaires, audits, and RFP security responses is preferred. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced security operations environment while managing multiple priorities.
