Product Design Lead - India Running

Location: Bandra West Setup: Work From Office Company: India Running (Saransh Ventures Pvt. Ltd.) Location: Mumbai Experience: 710+ years, with prior experience leading design for a consumer mobile app Reports to:Business Head About the Role India Running is looking for a Product Design Lead to own the end-to-end design experience of the India Running App from onboarding and race discovery to training plans, community, and post-race engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll set design direction, ship high-quality UI/UX yourself, and (as the team grows) mentor other designers. What You'll Do Own the product design vision and visual language for the India Running App across iOS and AndroidTranslate business and user goals (registrations, retention, engagement) into intuitive, delightful flowsDesign and ship features end-to-end: wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and interaction designPartner closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to define roadmap and prioritize design workConduct/synthesize user research and usability testing with runners to inform design decisionsBuild and maintain a scalable design system for consistency across the app and related touchpointsCollaborate with the Marketing team on campaign creatives, emailers, and event-related design needs as requiredPresent design rationale and outcomes to leadership; use data to justify and iterate on design decisions What We're Looking For 710+ years of product design experience, with at least 23 years in a lead or senior IC role on a consumer appStrong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end mobile app design (case studies preferred over just visuals)Proficiency in Figma; familiarity with prototyping and handoff toolsExperience designing for scale apps with meaningful DAU/MAU, not just concept workStrong understanding of iOS/Android design guidelines and responsive design principlesAbility to balance craft with speed in a startup environmentBonus: passion for running/fitness, or experience designing for sports, fitness, or community-led apps What We Offer Ownership of a high-visibility consumer product in India's fastest-growing running communityDirect access to founders and cross-functional leadershipA fast-paced, builder-first culture .
