CICS Mainframes Admin CICS Administrator (CICS System Programmer): 6+ years of experience as a CICS Administrator/System Programmer with experience in managing CICS regions across multiple Systems/LPARs. - Knowledge of all CICS parameters that control performance in a CICSPlex environment. - Knowledge of CICS SMF record structure and the CICS Performance Analyzer tool to gather statistics necessary to tune CICS regions. - Experience with CICSPlex SM implementation & customization, dynamic transaction routing, etc. - Exposure to installation, upgrade, and maintenance of CICS and related products. - Set up and maintain CICS regions & analyzing CICS system logs. - Defining/Maintaining CICS system tables. - Assembler and COBOL coding and knowledge of CICS Exits - Web application support in a CICS TS V5 environment - Using traces in problem determination and formatting and interpreting trace entries. - Ability to perform problem determination, dump analysis and performance tuning on CICS regions. - Should have a sound understanding and working knowledge of z/OS, TSO, ISPF, SMP/E, DB2, JCL and basic COBOL scripting. - Understanding of zOS facilities such as: APF, Linklist, VSAM, LPA, Coupling Facility - Having a knowledge in Mainframe MQ Administration is a plus. - Working knowledge of the zOS & CICS Explorer - Good understanding of ITIL modules like Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management Deliver No Performance Parameter Measure 1 Operations of the tower SLA adherence Knowledge management CSAT/ Customer Experience Identification of risk issues and mitigation plans Knowledge management 2 New projects Timely delivery Avoid unauthorised changes No formal escalations Mandatory Skills: Mainframe Infra Admin .
