Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for an Oracle DBA | Fusion Middleware professional with 8+ years of experience, based in New Delhi. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and administering Oracle databases, monitoring performance, and ensuring high availability and reliability of database environments. The role involves configuring, maintaining, and supporting Oracle Fusion Middleware components, performing backup and recovery operations, and implementing robust security measures. The individual will troubleshoot database and middleware issues, optimize queries and configurations, and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support deployments, upgrades, and production stability. The position also requires preparing technical documentation, following best practices, and adhering to organizational policies and compliance standards. Qualifications - Install and day to day maintenance of Oracle Databases, Oracle applications, fusion middleware, and other areas of Oracle technology - Experience installing and maintenance of Oracle application and technology - Excellent understanding of full project life cycle and Oracle Implementation methodologies including AIM, OUM - Excellent client management and communication (written and oral) skills - Upgrade of databases and applications - Strong RDBMS concepts, Core DBA skills, Performance tuning, Oracle Application DBA skills including system administration, patch application, backup, restore, Disaster Recovery - Best practices in promoting code to instances. - Experience on DBA utilities/tools including RMAN, Netbackup, Oracle OEM, ASM, Partitioning, Materialized views - Experience in Cloud configuration and migration. - Good Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Scripting - Good Knowledge of tools like SQL Developer, Toad, Putty, version control systems - Good understanding of Database Architecture, Operating Systems, Client/ Server Architecture, Middleware and Hardware (Servers, SAN, Network). - Solid team players who value the success of the team as highly as their own personal success. .
