(NOT IN INDIA) Job Summary Responsible for managing daily store and warehouse operations, including receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory. The Storekeeper ensures accurate stock records, proper material handling, timely issuance of materials, and efficient utilization of storage space while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards. Key Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming materials, goods, tools, equipment, and supplies. Verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents. Arrange and store materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval. Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns. Issue materials to departments, production teams, projects, or authorized personnel as per approved requirements. Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving items. Conduct regular physical stock checks and periodic inventory reconciliation. Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Notes, Stock Transfer Notes, and other store documents. Ensure proper labeling, coding, stacking, and storage of all materials. Follow FIFO/FEFO methods where applicable. Coordinate with purchase, logistics, production, and other departments regarding material requirements. Maintain proper documentation and update inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems. Monitor damaged, expired, obsolete, or rejected materials and maintain separate records. Ensure safe handling and storage of materials according to company procedures. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the store and warehouse. Assist with loading, unloading, packing, and dispatch activities when required. Support stock audits and provide required inventory reports to management. Report stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and other issues to the Store Manager or concerned department.
