Role Description The Emulation Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. In this role, the engineer works on setting up, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software emulation environments for complex SoC designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and running test benches and emulation test cases, debugging functional and performance issues, and collaborating closely with design and verification teams to validate features and system behavior. The engineer will optimize emulation workflows, support regression runs, analyze results, and contribute to improving coverage, reliability, and turnaround time. The role also involves documentation of emulation setups, processes, and findings, as well as continuous learning of new tools and methodologies relevant to advanced semiconductor design and verification. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in digital design and verification concepts, including SoC/ASIC design flows and understanding of IP integration.Candidates should possess hands-on experience with emulation or prototyping platforms and associated tools (e.g., hardware emulators, FPGA-based validation, or similar environments).Candidates should possess proficiency in hardware description and verification languages such as Verilog/SystemVerilog and familiarity with simulation, debugging, and regression methodologies.Candidates should possess solid problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze logs, waveforms, and system-level behavior to identify and resolve issues.Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and document technical findings clearly.Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with approximately 35 years of relevant industry experience.Experience in VLSI design and verification projects, exposure to complex SoC architectures, and familiarity with automotive or safety-critical systems are advantageous.Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to evolving project requirements and technologies.
