The ideal candidate should combine Shopify development, pixel-perfect UI/UX implementation, technical SEO, performance optimization, international store management, and Agentic SEO knowledge. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, maintain, and optimize Shopify 2.0 themes and storefronts.Convert Figma designs and mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive Shopify pages across desktop, tablet, and mobile.Build modern, conversion-focused UI/UX while maintaining performance and scalability.Work with Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6, AJAX, JSON, Metafields, Storefront API, and Shopify APIs.Customize themes, sections, templates, product pages, collections, carts, and other storefront components.Integrate and troubleshoot Shopify Apps, third-party APIs, payment systems, marketing tools, and analytics platforms.Perform technical SEO audits and resolve crawlability, indexing, canonical, redirect, and other site issues.Implement and validate structured data / Schema markup for products, breadcrumbs, organizations, and other relevant entities.Improve page speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall storefront performance.Manage and optimize multiple-country / international Shopify stores, including localization and Shopify Markets.Debug, test, and maintain stores across browsers and devices.Collaborate with design, SEO, marketing, and ecommerce teams to improve conversion, user experience, and organic visibility. Agentic SEO & AI Search Candidates should understand Agentic SEO / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how Shopify stores can be structured for better visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and other LLM-powered discovery channels. Knowledge of semantic HTML, structured data, clean site architecture, crawlable product information, entity signals, and machine-readable ecommerce data is important.
