NCM Associates is a key player in the Data, Analytics, and AI functions Digital Products team, seeking an Operations Analyst to support the COO. The role involves designing and improving operational reporting and analytics solutions to enhance data-informed decision-making and program performance visibility. ResponsibilitiesOwn the NCM Program Scorecards: deliver regular data updates, evolve metrics and measurements based on business priorities, and provide recommendations for automating data flows to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient scorecard maintenanceLead Quarterly ELT/SLT Goal Tracking: design and implement measurement systems to accurately assess completion rates and progress; collaborate with stakeholders to brainstorm, evaluate, and integrate new data sources to strengthen goal visibility and accountability; work with leadership to identify new measures that accurately reflect targeted outcomesPartner with Finance: attend Finance meetings and working sessions to identify opportunities for deeper operational data and reporting; develop leading-indicator dashboards and analyses that connect operational performance to financial outcomesDeliver ad-hoc operational reporting and analysis to support the COO and leadership team, including rapid response to emerging business questions through data extraction, transformation, visualization, and insightful narrativeGather and analyze business and operational requirements through stakeholder interviews, process review, and needs assessment to define and prioritize reporting, scorecard, and analytics solutionsDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain formatted reports, interactive dashboards, visualizations, and supporting database structures (tables, views, stored procedures) using modern BI and data toolsAssist with data integration routines, ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, quality validation, and automation initiatives to ensure reliable data availability for operational analyticsContribute to data discovery, profiling, source-to-target mapping, lineage, and quality efforts to maintain trustworthy operational data assetsCollaborate with Data Engineering, Data Stewardship, Architecture, and cross-functional teams to align solutions with enterprise standards, governance policies, and the Value Creation BlueprintPrepare documentation, project proposals, and status updates; participate in agile or iterative delivery methodologies; and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and analytics maturityStay current with operational analytics best practices, BI technologies, and data automation tools, applying new capabilities to enhance efficiency and insight qualitySkills Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics, Finance, Operations, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or financial background preferred35 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Programmer/Analyst, BI Developer, Report Developer, or Operations Analyst role within an IT, Data, or Finance environmentStrong experience with data warehousing, data modeling, relational databases (RDBMS), SQL, and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Demonstrated success building and maintaining executive-level scorecards, operational dashboards, and goal-tracking mechanismsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex operational data into clear insights for senior leadership and Finance partnersHighly analytical with strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and attention-to-detail skills; proven ability to work independently while driving results in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with high accountability, confidentiality, and professional presence; capable of organizing and prioritizing multiple deliverablesMBA or financial background preferredExperience partnering with Finance or leadership teams and working with financial/operational data as leading indicators is strongly preferredFamiliarity with data automation, ETL/ELT concepts, and agile/spiral methodologies; enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologiesCompany Overview NCM Associates is an automotive company offering business analysis tools.
