Job Overview Branch is seeking a talented Individual on the post of Senior Associate in the Finance department for taking care of Corporate accounts and tax compliances. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting activities. The focus will include compliance with IndAs accounting standards, support in monthly book closure and audits, and other projects. You will collaborate with our Ops, Credit, Finance, engineering teams to drive legal operations and compliance culture. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your accounting skills in a dynamic and diverse environment. Requirements Assist in and independently handle corporate accounting activities, including monthly and period-end book closuresExposure to accounting for debt, borrowings, and treasury-related transactions is preferred.Ensure accounting and reporting are in line with applicable accounting standards (Ind-AS / IGAAP), as applicablePrepare and maintain working papers, schedules, and reconciliations to support financial reporting and auditsSupport statutory, internal, and tax audits, including responding to auditor queries and providing relevant dataWork on process improvements, documentation, and standardisation of accounting workflowsEnsure appropriate controls and checks at the transaction and process level to maintain data accuracy and integrityAbility to work independently, take ownership of assigned areas, and close issues in a timely mannerCommunicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders and auditorsWorking knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP is an added advantageStrong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsHigh attention to detail with a strong control and risk awareness mindset Qualifications Chartered Accountant (24 years of experience) or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (46 years of experience)Experience in handling corporate accounting and financial reportingPrior experience in the NBFC / financial services sector is an added advantageExposure to Big4 or mid-size CA firms is preferred.Experience working in a process-driven or growing organisation is an advantage Why Join Us Competitive salary and equity packageFast-paced, collaborative, and high-autonomy work cultureHybrid work setup designed for flexibility and work-life balanceFully paid group medical insurance and personal accident insuranceGenerous paid time off, plus company-declared public holidaysFully paid parental leave for fathers and non-birthing parents (12 weeks), in addition to 26 weeks of statutory maternity leaveMonthly WFH stipend, along with a one-time home office setup budget$500 annual professional development budgetQuarterly social meet-ups and sponsored monthly team lunches Branch International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
