Job Description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate and monitor supplier performance through audits, inspections, and performance metrics.Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process, and final inspectionsConduct incoming inspection of vendor-supplied components using CMMs and 3D scanning equipment.Review supplier documentation including material certifications, test reports, and NDT results. Perform source inspections at supplier sites as needed, including visual and dimensional inspection.Interpret and apply GD&T, aerospace specifications, and engineering drawings to assess product quality.Collaborate with suppliers to address non-conformances, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Assist in supplier qualification, onboarding, and regular re-evaluation processes.Maintain accurate records and documentation related to AS9100 and customer-specific quality requirements.Participate in NDT-related evaluations, including reviewing method results such as PT (Penetrant Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), or RT (Radiographic Testing). Support internal and external audits (NADCAP, AS9100, customer). Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills : DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Diploma or bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 25 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the aerospace or defence industry. Preferred Skills Certification or training in NDT Level I/II (PT, MT, UT, RT).Experience with FAI documentation.Familiarity with MRB processes, SCAR, and supplier corrective action tracking systems.Previous exposure to defence industry compliance or NADCAP audits. .
