Ingram Micro is seeking experienced software engineers who can leverage their skill set to grow as part of an Agile SCRUM team. This opportunity requires strong problem-solving skills, an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication as they deliver efficient, well designed, and tested software for a positive user experience. Key Job Functions/Requirements Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using IBM mainframe and allied technologies. Contribute to the design and implementation of business requirements. Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other developers to deliver end-to-end solutionsWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code that follows best practicesBe able to contribute code and solutions based on your previous training and referencing help, manuals or other resources on your ownWilling to assume end-to-end ownership of solutions as part of Agile SCRUM team, which includes assisting in development of testing automation and other key quality aspectsParticipate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriateEngage in all Agile ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstrations, and team retrospectivesDemonstrates awareness of DevOps mindset where Agile SCRUM team is accountable for product from inception to sunsetCreate and/or update documentation to support development efforts. Documentation may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams and/or design documentsShare knowledge among members in Agile SCRUM teamDemonstrate excellent communication skills and effective collaboration in a team-oriented environmentAptitude for learning new technologies and conceptsExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritizeAble to translate customer and business needs to technical solutionsResilient to change Education Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent Minimum Experience 4 10 years Specialized Knowledge & Skills Associate to have experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, CICS. Should have worked in all phases of application development from requirement, analysis to Deployment. Experience in production support ( Mainframe Batch) will be an added advantageUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or cloud environments especially GCP. Experience working in Agile teams, using tools like Jira, DevOps, or similarA collaborative mindset with good communication skillsFamiliarity with databases/DBMS like PostgreSQL, SQL Server. Good understanding of Unit testingGeneral understanding of Agile Management Tools (i.e. Confluence, Jira) Nice To Have Skills Good understanding of Supply chain domain. General understanding of EDI standards and processes preferably for supply chain domain. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
