This integrated approach to customer service, creativity and technological excellence enables employee productivity, business analytics, and process excellence. /Preferred Qualifications Administer, operate, and maintain F5 BIG-IP platforms including LTM, ASM/Advanced WAF, APM, and DNS/GTM. - Design and support load balancing, SSL offload, traffic steering, persistence, and high-availability (HA) configurations. - Perform system upgrades, patching, backups, and routine health checks. - Monitor performance, availability, and capacity to ensure SLA compliance. - Operate and manage F5 Distributed Cloud (XC Cloud) services including application delivery, global load balancing, and web application & API protection. - Integrate F5 XC Cloud with on-prem BIG-IP environments in hybrid and multi-cloud designs. - Troubleshoot application connectivity, latency, and security incidents across distributed environments. - Configure and tune Web Application Firewall (ASM / Advanced WAF) security policies. - Support access and authentication integrations such as SSO, LDAP, Oauth2, Active Directory, RADIUS, and SAML. - Develop and maintain iRules to meet application traffic requirements. - iRuleLX knowledge is considered advanced and optional, used only for complex integrations. - Provide Tier 2/3 operational support and participate in on-call or escalation rotations as required. - Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications - 5 years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP in production environments. - Strong experience with LTM (mandatory), ASM/Advanced WAF, APM, and DNS/GTM. - LTM (mandatory) - ASM / Advanced WAF - APM - DNS/GTM (mandatory) - Strong understanding of F5 ASM / Advanced WAF concepts, including security policy creation and tuning, positive and negative security models, signature management, false-positive reduction, attack mitigation (OWASP Top 10), and analysis of security logs and violation reports in production environments. - Practical experience with F5 Distributed Cloud (XC Cloud) or strong ability to ramp up quickly. - Solid understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS certificates. - Experience troubleshooting application and network-layer issues. - Familiarity with Linux system fundamentals. - Experience creating and troubleshooting iRules. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Knowledge of API security and modern application architectures. - Exposure to Zero Trust or edge security concepts. Preferred Certification - F5 Certified Administrator (CA). - F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS LTM or Security). - Cloud or security certifications are an advantage. Experience Level - Mid-Level: Independent operational ownership of F5 platforms. - Senior: Architecture input, mentoring, and cross-domain technical leadership.
