About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Microsoft Fabric Engineer with 5+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud analytics, and modern data platform development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, ETL/ELT development, and enterprise analytics solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting scalable data engineering and analytics solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-driven insights and cloud-based data platforms. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services. - Build and support Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and analytics solutions within Microsoft Fabric. - Work with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements. - Implement data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes for structured and unstructured data sources. - Develop scalable and optimized data models for analytics and reporting. - Support Power BI reporting and dashboard integration with Microsoft Fabric. - Monitor and optimize data workflows, pipeline performance, and system reliability. - Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment automation and CI/CD implementation. - Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are maintained. - Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and platform-related issues. - Prepare technical documentation, mapping documents, and operational procedures. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Roles And Skills & Experience - 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Development, or Cloud Data Platforms. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data ecosystem. Strong Experience With - Microsoft Fabric - OneLake - Fabric Data Factory - Fabric Data Warehouse - Fabric Data Engineering - Power BI - Lakehouse Architecture Experience With Azure Services Such As - Azure Data Factory (ADF) - Azure Synapse Analytics - Azure SQL - Azure Storage - Azure DevOps - Strong knowledge of SQL and data transformation techniques. - Experience with Python, Spark, or PySpark is preferred. - Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration frameworks. - Valuable understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines. - Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices is preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and stakeholder interaction abilities. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. - Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Fabric certifications preferred. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models. - Exposure to enterprise analytics and reporting environments. Soft Skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities - Ability to work independently and within teams - High ownership and accountability - Adaptability in fast-paced project environments Nice To Have - Experience with real-time analytics and streaming data - Exposure to AI/ML or advanced analytics projects - Knowledge of data governance and security frameworks - Experience with API integrations and cloud-native architectures - Exposure to multi-cloud platforms suchs as AWS or GCP (ref:hirist.tech) .
