Project Manager - Data Center Civil & Electrical (Chennai)

Objective Lead end-to-end data center projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, secure, and high-quality delivery from mobilization through commissioning and handover. Key Responsibilities - Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower, resources, and milestones. - Lead civil, structural, electrical, and MEP execution and coordination. - Manage foundations, RCC, steel, buildings, data halls, roads, drainage, trenches, and equipment foundations. - Oversee HT/LT systems, transformers, RMUs, DGs, UPS, switchgear, PDU/RPP, busduct, cabling, earthing, and lightning protection. - Coordinate HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, ELV, BMS, and security systems. - Ensure N, N+1, and 2N redundancy and data center reliability requirements. - Manage contractors, consultants, vendors, procurement, variations, claims, and long-lead materials. - Monitor quality, HSE, productivity, cost, schedule, and project risks. - Lead testing, commissioning, load/failure-mode testing, IST, snag closure, documentation, and handover. Education & Experience - BE/B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering. - 1220 years of relevant project execution experience. - Strong experience in large-scale construction, MEP, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects. - Data center experience preferred; semiconductor, pharma, hospital, or airport experience may be considered. - Project/Construction Management qualification is an advantage.
