Job Summary On behalf of our India-based client in the Gaming & Entertainment Technology sector, we are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright automation testing. The ideal candidate has 9-12 years of experience in test automation, framework development, API testing, and CI/CD integration, and can independently drive automation initiatives to ensure high-quality software delivery. Remote role with full-time, part-time, and contract engagement options. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications Plan and perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests to identify defects and ensure expected application behavior. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines Assess test execution results, identify software issues, and coordinate with development teams to drive defects through to resolution. Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to automation best practices Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and continuous improvement of testing processes Required Skills 9-12 years of experience in software testing and QA automation Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks Strong understanding of Web UI automation testing Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA Strong SQL and database validation skills AI Experience Knowledge of AI-assisted testing approaches, such as automated test generation, adaptive test scripts, and intelligent defect management, will be considered a plus. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
