Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Communications Modernization team within the HIG India technology organization. This role supports the transformation of customer communication and publishing platforms from legacy systems to up-to-date, cloudnative, microservicesbased architectures, including OpenText Exstream CloudNative (CN) on AWS. This role is ideal for an AIFirst engineer who applies modern engineering practices, leverages AIassisted development tools, and thrives working in distributed Agile teams modernizing enterprise platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications and services supporting publishing and customer communications platforms. Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices that modernize legacy publishing workflows and orchestration engines. Develop frontend solutions and UI components to support internal platforms, dashboards, and publishing tooling. Collaborate with onshore architects, product owners, and vendors to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions. Contribute to modernization efforts migrating from legacy systems to OpenText Exstream CloudNative and AWSbased services. Leverage AIassisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, codeassist platforms, promptbased tooling) to improve productivity, code quality, and speed to delivery. Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, security, and performance best practices. Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud deployments. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, Retrospecti .
