About The Role Our client is one of India's largest consumer internet platforms, processing millions of transactions every day. You will join a backend team that owns core, high-traffic services and build Java microservices that stay fast and reliable under heavy concurrent load. What You Will Do Design, build, and own backend microservices in Java and Spring Boot, from design doc to production Build for high throughput and low latency, with clear ownership of p99 latency and availability targets Work with Kafka or similar queues for event-driven flows, Redis for caching, and SQL plus NoSQL stores for persistence Own production health: monitoring, alerting, incident RCAs, and performance tuning Collaborate with product, mobile, and platform teams on API contracts and rollouts Must Have 3 to 5 years of backend development in Java with strong, recent Spring Boot experience Built and owned production microservices yourself, not just worked in a codebase that had them Hands-on with at least two of: Kafka or similar queues, Redis or Memcached, Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch Concrete scale receipts: you can speak to QPS, events per day, p99 latency, and what you personally did to improve them Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and distributed systems basics Product company background Good to Have Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or GCP System design at scale: sharding, partitioning, rate limiting, idempotency, backpressure gRPC, CI/CD ownership, infra as code Skills: high scale distributed system,ownership,java,microservices .
