Designation: Underwriter I (US P & C Insurance) Shift 5:30pm to 2:30am (Night Shift) Experience Required 6 to 8 years of overall experience 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in US P & C underwriting Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate and underwrite US P & C (US Workers Compensation) policies as per underwriting guidelines - Assess risk exposure and determine appropriate coverage, terms, and pricing for current business and renewals/existing business - Review submission application including loss runs, financials, census, operational details and evaluate the risk - Ensure compliance with underwriting standards and regulatory requirements - Collaborate with internal teams (brokers, agents, operations) - Maintain detailed and accurate records of underwriting decisions, activities, and communication for auditing purposes - Maintain documentation and ensure accuracy in policy issuance - Support renewals and endorsements .
