SUMMARY Seeking a candidate with quantitative aptitude and an interest in investment models, data analytics, and model risk management. The role supports the oversight, monitoring, testing, and documentation of investment and AI-enabled models used across Northern Trust Asset Management. The successful candidate will apply statistical and analytical techniques to evaluate model performance, automate monitoring activities, analyze model data, and support model governance requirements. Candidates should possess a solid analytical foundation, programming skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. Works with moderate guidance while developing knowledge of investment processes, model risk management practices, and applicable regulatory expectations. MAJOR DUTIES Perform quantitative analysis of investment and AI-enabled models. Support model monitoring activities, including performance testing, threshold monitoring, trend analysis, and investigation of model performance issues.
