Summary of Job Description Understanding Customers specification of High Voltage motors & allied systems for LUV, Thermal power, Refineries projects, etc. Preparation of detail Motor manufacturing & testing documentation Tracking & monitoring of project wise motor inhouse manufacturing plan, ensuring for timely execution by close co-ordination with Production and Purchase dept. Co-ordination with suppliers for machining, Stator / Rotor lamination fitment, technical documents as per data sheets, verification of compliances/deviations, in terms of electrical / mechanical construction & performance parameters Ensuring for readiness of Motor test set-up to carry out inhouse testing as per procedure Interaction with external Labs for special Motor tests Interaction with suppliers, internal Quality department & Lead project manager, for review of project Quality Control Plan (QCP) Internally reviewing & approving suppliers documents (with any customization if required) for submission to the customer and interaction with the customer & supplier for timely approval Monitoring QCP & visiting suppliers for KSBs inspection witness points as required during manufacturing & getting necessary timely clearances/approvals after review of inspection documents.
