Senior SOC Lead MDR & Security Architecture

About the roleWe are seeking a Senior SOC Lead to drive threathunting, detection engineering and platform architecture across our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) ecosystem. The role combines deep technical expertise with leadership, overseeing integration of multiple security solutions and guiding junior analysts.Key responsibilitiesLead threathunting and proactive detection engineering using advanced analytics and UEBA behavior models.Architect and maintain endtoend integration across the MDR stack FortiSOAR, SentinelOne, FortiSIEM, KnowBe4, Vicarius.Oversee EDR/agent lifecycle management for approximately 9,200 endpoints (7,800 users and 1,400 servers).Manage FortiSIEM collectors, connectors and correlation rules to ensure complete log ingestion.Define response frameworks, governance dashboards and compliance reports aligned with HIPAA/HITRUST.Act as technical liaison with Mercyhealth and vendors for platform upgrades, roadmap planning and audits.Mentor Level1 &2 analysts, lead tabletop exercises and ensure incidentresponse readiness.Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives using FortiSOAR playbooks and custom integrations.Required profile710 years of experience in SOC/MDR architecture or security engineering.Proven handson experience designing and scaling Fortinet SIEM/SOAR, SentinelOne and UEBA integrations.Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST80053, CIS Controls and MITRE ATT&CK.Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC GSOC/GCFA, Fortinet NSE68 or equivalent).Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.Required skillsSentinelOneFortiSIEMFortiSOARUEBA platformsKnowBe4VicariusPython scriptingPowerShell scriptingREST API integrationEDR/agent lifecycle managementSIEM and SOAR configurationHIPAA/HITRUST compliance reporting .
