Responsibilities - Manage and monitor Motor claims operations at the state level, including claim frequency and severity, TAT, settlement ratio, claim size, loss ratio, and end-to-end payment and reserve approvals. - Maintain strong relationships with channel partners, dealers, repairers, and ensure availability of skilled regional manpower while addressing claim issues with corrective actions. - Conduct regular state-level and high-aging claim reviews, initiate IFCU investigations for admissibility and fraud, and manage approvals for high-value and repudiation cases. - Drive claims data analysis for effective claim management and loss minimization, ensuring efficient team performance and timely settlements through stakeholder coordination. - Ensure overall claims process excellence through continuous improvement, legal and regulatory compliance, fair customer treatment, effective open-file reviews, and regular risk reporting to the Insurance department. Qualifications Diploma or Degree Automobile engineering / Diploma or Degree Mechanical engineering with experience from automobile workshop / motor insurance claim handling. Required Skills Hands-on experience in automotive accident repairs and insurance claims management, solid knowledge of company policies, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, robust data analysis and modeling capability, a logical problem-solving approach, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. .
