Job Title: Associate - TPA Company Name: Manipal Hospitals : As an Associate in the TPA (Third Party Administrator) department at Manipal Hospitals, your primary role will involve managing and facilitating the claims process between insurance companies and healthcare providers. You will be responsible for ensuring that the necessary documentation is collected and verified, assisting patients with their insurance queries, and coordinating with insurance companies to ensure timely approval of claims. You will play a critical role in enhancing patient satisfaction by providing timely and accurate information regarding health insurance policies and coverage. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the TPA documentation process, ensuring all claims are properly submitted and followed up on. - Serve as a point of contact for patients and insurance representatives regarding claim statuses and insurance queries. - Review insurance policies and their coverage details to provide accurate information to patients and healthcare staff. - Coordinate with various departments within the hospital to gather necessary documentation for claims processing. - Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the claims process. - Stay updated with changes in insurance policies and healthcare regulations. - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the TPA process. Skills Required: - Robust understanding of health insurance policies and procedures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in claim submissions. - Problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise with claims. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Proficient in the use of office software and hospital management systems.
