We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer (SDE) with 3 to 5 years of overall experience and a solid focus on JavaScript development and testing. The ideal candidate should have at least 2.5 years of experience in JavaScript development and testing, with expertise in writing their own test cases and performing end-to-end testing using Cypress. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in writing unit test cases and performing unit testing. As an SDE, you will be responsible for developing robust and scalable applications, as well as ensuring code quality through unit and end-to-end testing. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript. Write and execute end-to-end test cases using Cypress for comprehensive testing of the application. Develop and maintain unit test cases using Cypress or RTL to ensure code functionality and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to understand project requirements and deliver optimal solutions. Troubleshoot and debug code, and continuously improve the testing process to ensure high-quality releases. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the codebase. Maintain proper documentation of the testing processes and results. Required Skills & Experience: 3 to 5 years of overall experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development. 2.5+ years of hands-on experience in JavaScript development and testing. 1+ year of experience in writing and executing unit tests using frameworks like Jest, Cypress, Jasmine, or Karma. Strong experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best coding practices. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins. Experience in Agile development methodologies. Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Jest, Karma, or anything similar. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Jenkins. Joining Availability: Candidates should be available to join within 15 to 60 days.
