About The Role As a Lead IT Product Owner Financial Reporting & Analytics, you will own the technical solution and delivery of Finance Reporting & Analytics applications. You ensure that solutions are feasible, scalable, compliant, and operationally stable, while aligning business needs with technical execution. You act as the key interface between Business Product Owners and engineering teams, ensuring that requirements are translated into implementable solutions and that delivery is predictable, transparent, and aligned with enterprise standards. You are accountable for product and backlog management, technical solution integrity, and end-to-end delivery, while working closely with Business Product Owners, Technical Business Analysts and engineering teams. You ensure data reliability, embedded controls, and outputs that meet regulatory, audit, and business requirements. Key Responsibilities Own the technical solution and endtoend delivery of a Financial Reporting & Analytics (IFRS) application, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architectureDelivery planning and product backlog management with the Business Product Owner, ensuring alignment between business priorities and technical readinessTranslate business needs into clear, implementable technical solutions, and ensure transparent delivery with visibility on progress, risks, dependencies, and constraintsWork closely with the Data Engineering Lead and the development team to ensure smooth execution and delivery of technical componentsGuide and support Technical Business Analysts in refining requirements into high-quality technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteriaEnsure compliance with IT architecture, SDLC, QA, and data governance standards throughout the product lifecycleManage system dependencies, including upstream and downstream integrations, and ensure alignment across teams and systemsEnsure operational readiness and stability, including incident and change management, security, access management, and monitoring About The Team You will join the Palantir Foundry Reporting & Analytics Solutions team, a highimpact product team working at the intersection of Finance, data, and technology. The team delivers and runs modern, datadriven applications that enable Finance Reporting & Analytics, supporting both regulatory requirements and decisionmaking. The Palantir Foundry Solutions team is part of the Product Area Reporting & Analytics within Data & Technology Finance, where product ownership, engineering excellence, and close collaboration with Finance stakeholders come together to deliver and run businesscritical, visible, and evolving solutions. You have a talent for translating business needs into technical requirements and can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. We Are Looking For Candidates Who Meet These Requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in Financial Reporting & Analytics, ideally IFRS/accountingStrong track record in product management, delivering large scale data pipelines and expertise in modern data platforms such as Databricks and Palantir Foundry, combined with a background in Finance / FP&A and the (Re-)Insurance industryProven ability to ensure high data quality and reliability across pipelines as well as solid expertise of data governance, lineage, and data management frameworks (ideally experience with internal / external audits)Experience with data-related technologies and coding (e.g., Python, PySpark, SQL, TypeScript), enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams is a strong advantageExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technology and influence at multiple seniority levelsAbility to translate business requirements into implementable technical solutions, balancing feasibility, scalability, and delivery constraintsStrong command of Agile ways of working (incl. tools and backlog management), with handson experience guiding and collaborating with crossfunctional product and engineering teamsStrong analytical and problemsolving mindset, including familiarity with product delivery and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement About Swiss Re Swiss Re is one of the worlds leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, working to make the world more resilient.
