Aptean is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Engineer System Integration Testing to join our SIT quality engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and improving system integration test strategies to validate the end-to-end functionality, performance, and interoperability of complex systems. You will work closely with development, product, and SIT operations teams to ensure the seamless integration of components and subsystems. A proven track record in working in SIT roles and leveraging AI-driven solutions in QA cycles is highly valued. Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain comprehensive System Integration Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts for complex systems.Perform end-to-end integration testing of multiple system modules or services across different layers and platforms.Lead root cause analysis of integration issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.Ensure that all integrated systems meet functional, performance, and security requirements.Develop test automation frameworks and tools for continuous integration and testing.Coordinate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to align integration testing with deployment cycles.Identify integration risks early in the development cycle and propose mitigations.Collaborate to create and maintain test environments that replicate real-world configurations and data flows.Mentor junior testers and engineers in integration testing best practices.Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies, including analysis and continuous improvement in integration processes.Create and execute manual feature-level test designs and test cases for applications.Execute automated performance and load tests.Participate in project test plan, test design, and test case reviews.Participate in product design reviews and product documentation reviews.Gain exposure to Web UI, mobile, and device testing.Develop an understanding of customer scenarios.Design negative path testing scenarios and contribute to ad hoc testing.Become proficient in the primary product assigned and acquire a good understanding of core modules of the secondary product assigned.SkillsStrong understanding of integration testing concepts, such as API testing, database validation, inter-system data exchange, and messaging protocols.Experience with integration tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, Selenium, REST Assured).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Shell).Hands-on experience with automation tools like mabl, Selenium, or similar tools.Knowledge of network protocols, distributed systems, and cloud-based architecture is a plus.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Good to have knowledge on the TMS domain.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree (Required). Master's degree (Preferred).Work Experience: 5+ years in System Integration Testing or similar roles (with at least 2 years in SIT or similar roles specifically within QA). .
