This role is office-based in our Bhopal facility, promoting direct collaboration. Key Responsibilities Evaluate applications for life and health insurance, assessing individual risks based on medical history, lifestyle, and other factors. Determine policy terms, conditions, premiums, and coverage limits in accordance with underwriting guidelines. Analyze medical reports, financial information, and other supporting documentation. Communicate with medical professionals, agents, and applicants as necessary to gather additional information. Ensure adherence to underwriting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate and organized records of underwriting decisions and rationale. Requirements Proven experience as an Insurance Underwriter , with a focus on Life & Health insurance products. Solid understanding of medical terminology, health conditions, and risk assessment principles. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing applications. Proficiency in underwriting software and standard office applications.
