We are currently hiring for the position of Applied AI / Multimodal AI Engineer and are looking for immediate joiners with expertise in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, OCR, and Vision-Language Models (VLMs). Position: Applied AI / Multimodal AI Engineer Experience: 5+ Years Location: Delhi Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Description: Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, and Multimodal AI solutions using modern open-source technologies. Build AI pipelines for OCR and document understanding Image attribute extraction Image enhancement Image generation Multilingual language processing Develop automated model evaluation frameworks using metrics such as: OCR CER/WER Attribute F1 Score Hallucination Rate Regression Testing Perform benchmarking, error analysis, model calibration, and optimization to continuously improve AI model performance. Optimize models for accuracy, scalability, latency, and cost across cloud and edge environments using: Threshold tuning Calibration Ensembling Post-processing techniques Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging AI technologies and deliver production-ready AI solutions. Mandatory Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in Applied Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, or Multimodal AI. Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. Hands-on experience with OCR technologies: DocTR PaddleOCR TrOCR Experience working with Vision-Language Models (VLMs): Grounding DINO OWL-ViT CLIP Experience with multilingual AI models: IndicTrans2 NLLB IndicWhisper Strong expertise in model evaluation, benchmarking, regression testing, error analysis, model optimization, and performance tuning. Experience with Git, Docker, REST APIs, and deployment of AI/ML solutions in production environments. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
