Position title: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager Operational Compliance Location: Mumbai / Hyderabad Department: R&T; Operations Grade: IL5/IL4 Organizational relationships Reports to: AVP R&T; Ops Purpose of the Job : To ensure that the mutual fund operations comply with SEBI regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices. The role involves implementation and monitoring of various regulations, reviewing internal processes, coordinating with various departments to maintain a strong compliance framework. Key Responsibilities - Monitor day-to-day mutual fund operations to ensure compliance with SEBI, AMFI, and internal guidelines. - Conduct periodic compliance checks and operational audits. - Assist in the developments and implementation of Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for operational compliance. - Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g., SEBI filings, AMFI submissions). - Coordinate with internal departments (Compliance, Operations, Legal, Risk etc.) and external stakeholders i.e. RTA for implementation of various regulatory changes. - Changes to Scheme Information Document (SID) and Statement of Additional Information (SAI) from Operational process perspective. - Stay updated with changes in regulatory requirements and assess their operational impact. - Provide training to operations teams on compliance-related updates and process changes. - Ensure coordination with internal and external stakeholders for timely triggering of regulatory communications (Annual report, Monthly portfolio, Change in TER, etc.) to Investors / distributors. Role Specific Competencies - Robust attention to detail - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Valuable communication and coordination skill - Proficiency in MS Excel, compliance tools, and back-office systems. Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance or related fields. - Familiarity with SEBI Mutual fund regulations, AMFI guidelines and regulatory reporting requirements - Understanding of back-office operations .
